Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream is a combination of two local anesthetic medicines that help numb the area where it is applied. It is used on normal, unbroken skin to prevent pain before certain procedures such as needle insertion, wound suturing, and other minor surgeries.

It works by temporarily numbing the skin and surrounding area. Use this cream only as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only, so ensure the affected area is clean and dry before applying it.

Apply a thin layer and gently rub it to form a 2-3mm layer. After applying, cover the area with an occlusive dressing to protect it. Leave the dressing in place for at least 2 hours before any treatment or surgery. Avoid contact with your eyes or mouth, and if exposure occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
