Intended Use

Hepatitis b test kit is a highly accurate, rapid, and sensitive one-step immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in human serum or plasma. This diagnostic tool aids in identifying both acute infections and chronic carriers of the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), offering reliable support for timely recognition and diagnosis.

Principle of Operation

Hepacard employs a robust antigen-capture “sandwich” principle to deliver accurate results. The test utilizes monoclonal antibodies conjugated to colloidal gold and polyclonal antibodies immobilized on a nitrocellulose strip. Upon sample application, the HBsAg in the specimen forms an antigen-antibody-colloidal gold complex.
