Equirab Injection contains Anti Rabies Sera Immunoglobulins as an active ingredient. Equirab Injection works by providing passive immunity and binding with the rabies virus, causing loss of viral infection.

Equirab Injection is used for Prophylactic vaccination against rabies, Immuno-supressed patients and other conditions.

What are the possible side-effects of Equirab 1500 Injection ?

These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

Tenderness at the injection site, High fever, Weakness, Trouble speaking, Swallowing, Pain

  • Do not administer later than 7 days after post exposure vaccination
  • Do not give intravenously
  • Do not use this medication more than 7 days after the administration of rabies vaccine
  • History of allergic symptoms to serum
  • Patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy
